Did you notice that the last five pics at macontornado.com were of the ball field at West Macon? Didn't know if you knew that or not. Hope Brooke hangs in there for finals this week---we love you both!! Mom
Rick, It seems that I should know you. I am the uncle of Tammy(Dixon) Frederick. I am her mother's brother. I have been to Shades Mountain cofC many times. I count Mel Futrell a friend. I hope all is well with your family/friends in Macon. I would hope to meet you sometime in the near future.
Talked to my stepmom Sunday afternoon and they had no power at their house or at the church building so they didn't have services that day. Also my stepmom's sister's house had a tree fall on it but no one was hurt! They had a lot of trees fall on their driveway too so they spent Sunday afternoon cutting up trees! They also had about a 200 year old tree (with about a 6 ft diameter trunk) get ripped out of the ground like it was nothing and thrown across the driveway. But they were all safe!
